Seeking a degreed engineer to lead the implementation of specialty treatment processes for aerospace component manufacturing.
Shall;
Provide technical input and engineering approval of requirements for manufacturing processes
Analyze materials and specify treatment processes such as heat treatment, chemical processing,shot peening and finishing
Determine non-destructive inspection and testing techniques and analyze results
Conduct failure analysis to determine root cause of failures of materials, parts, or processes.
Determine process performance, material availability, product manufacturability, production cost, and tooling requirments
Requires:
Bachelor's degree in materials engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, Metallurgy or similar

years' experience in developing material treatment processes for aerospace manufacturing
