Our client is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a Director of Operations to join their dynamic team and drive operational efficiency and effectiveness within their manufacturing facility. Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to quality and safety standards. Collaborating with manufacturing leads and senior leadership, the Director will set priorities, assess manufacturing processes, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with manufacturing leads and senior leadership to set and assess priorities across teams. Assess cost-effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; make and implement recommendations to improve efficiency. Supervise tooling operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality and safety standards. Provide guidance and oversight in the development and execution of plant renovations and expansions. Assist in the management of the maintenance departments programs, activities, and responsibilities. Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines. Prepare and implement departmental budgets. Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement. Review, analyze, and evaluate manufacturing procedures. Implement policies and procedures to improve day-to-day operations. Oversee manufacturing departments to ensure goals are met. Communicate changes and directives to managers and staff, maintaining morale. Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes. Responsibilities:
Participate in the hiring and training of manufacturing departmental managers. Organize and oversee the work and schedules of manufacturing departmental managers. Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations. Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy. Work Environment:

Thorough understanding of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver's License Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management or equivalent experience in the manufacturing engineering field required. At least five years of supervisory experience preferred. Employment Type:
