Swim Teacher Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Teacher to join our team.
As a Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Whether teaching beginners how to float or refining the technique of competitive swimmers, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for swimming and promoting water safety.
Responsibilities:
1.
Program Development:
Implement a comprehensive swim school curriculum that aligns with industry standards and promotes progressive skill development.
Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and strategies to enhance the learning experience for students.
2.
Staff Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team of certified swim teachers and support staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure a high standard of teaching and customer service.
3.
Safety Compliance:
Oversee and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure learning environment for both students and staff.
Stay current with industry best practices and regulations related to swim instruction and facility safety.
4.
Customer Engagement:
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
5.
Marketing and Promotion:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new students and increase enrollment.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, social media campaigns, and community outreach programs.
6.
Financial Management:
Manage the swim school budget effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation.
Monitor enrollment trends, revenue, and expenses to make data-driven decisions for program improvement.
7.
Facility Management:
Collaborate with facility management to ensure that the aquatic facilities are well-maintained and conducive to effective swim instruction.
Coordinate scheduling and allocation of pool space for swim lessons and other activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
1.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
2.
Proven Experience managing a swim or other education/training program with track record of strong innovative leadership.
3.
Experience in hiring, scheduling, training, and maintaining strong leadership within a team.
Preferred:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related field.
2.
Current lifeguard and CPR certifications.
